A new concept car from Cadillac hints at future trends for car interior design, with the use of OLED displays and LED lighting.
Automotive website Motor Trend reports on the unveiling of the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept, a hybrid vehicle that can be driven using only electricity from its battery.
The interior includes OLED touchscreens for the gauges and controls, as well as LED screens embedded in the backs of the front seats for rear passengers. LEDs are also used for headlights and glowing door handles.
In September 2009, Hyundai unveiled its own hybrid concept, which contained an OLED speedometer.
