Earth Times reports that plastic electronic GmbH has entered a license agreement with printed display firm NTERA, to develop products incorporating its prototype printed displays.
The companies have also launched a display evaluation kit based on NTERA's Nanochromics technology, for developers looking to integrate flexible displays in products such as point-of-sale displays, consumer products and biomedical devices.
Philipp Weissel, general manager of plastic electronic GmbH, states: 'Together, the availability of the evaluation kit and the launch of the green-lama.com online shop signify a new milestone for the printed electronics industry and a clear indication of market readiness for the technology.'
