DyeTec Solar, a joint venture of Australian solar firm Dyesol and Pilkington, has been given $1 million (€730,000) in funding, to develop mass-manufacturing for building-integrated solar cells.
The funding comes from Ohio Third Frontier, the development organisation for the US region, says a company press release.
The state is aiming to establish a hub for plastic electronics, through the FlexMatters initiative.
