Japanese company Showa Denko (SDK) has agreed to cooperate with NovaCentrix of the US, in the development and sale of conductive inks.
A report on the Digital Journal announces the plans. SDK will manufacture and sell inks developed by NovaCentrix, with both developing inks to be used in the US company's photonic curing process. SDK will also act as a sales agent for Novacentrix's other technologies in Japan and Asia.
The tie-up will allow the Japanese company to put in its expertise in metal, inorganic and organic technologies, to improve the performance of existing conductive inks. The aim is to achieve conductivity on par with current copper foils and other methods.
