PragmatIC announces commercial pilot for printed logic circuits

PragmatIC Printing has announced plans to move its printed logic circuit technology to commercial pilot production.

The facilities at the Printable Electronics Centre will allow PragmatIC to begin pilot productionThe company has an agreement with the Printable Electronics Technology Centre at The Centre for Process Innovation in Redcar, UK, to use its facilities. As well as supporting low-volume commercial production, the line will also aid the company's pilot production programme, which aims to deploy the technology to a wider audience through collaborations, reports a company press release.

The pilot line is intended to begin operation in Q4 2012, with the company hoping its approach will bring a rapid transition to commercial production.
