Leading organic and large-area electronics (OLAE) organisations in Europe have joined together to form the FP7 project COLAE.
The project aims to speed up the commercialisation and adoption of OLAE by promoting collaboration between industries throughout Europe. Project partners will offer their tools and services for the existing organic electronics industry, and support new entrants in the market, with knowledge and training events, states the technology website Electronics Specifier.
The OLAE market is expected $96 billion (€74 billion) by 2020. COLAE will also work on raising awareness of the technology with end users to aid this market growth.
