US company Cymer has announced that sales from its subsidiary TCZ are expected to boom thanks to the demand for OLED displays.
TCZ offers Gen 4 and Gen 5.5 production products, and has received multiple orders for the advanced OLED manufacturing, from a number of sources. As interest in the OLED market has increased, with display manufacturers looking toward the technology for its latest displays in smartphones, tablets and large screen televisions, TCZ has secured orders for its TCZ-1500B and TCZ-900B crystallisation systems, according to a report by DigiTimes.
Cymer's revenues in 2010 we up by 74% over the previous year, and is expected to grow again in 2011, partially thanks to interest in the manufacturing of OLED displays.
