A new committee to oversee educational programmes supporting the plastic electronics industry has been established.
The IPC Printed Electronics Management Council Steering Committee is composed of industry bodies across the entire supply chain, from raw materials to manufacturers.
The committee has been set up by IPC, an American National Standard Institute-accredited trade organisation. The committee will meet at the IPC Apex Expo 2012 in San Diego, California in 28 February-1 March to discuss future programmes, states a press release.
Earlier in 2011, the IPC formed a steering committee for standards development, and four sub-committees to oversee design, base materials and substrates, functional materials, and final assembly.
