South Korean prosecutors are to investigate LG over claims that it has used infringed OLED technology patents held by Samsung.
According to reports by Marketwatch, the company has breached the patents relating to Samsung Mobile Display's technology. Investigations are centring around 10 LG employees, who came to the company from Samsung. Both companies have announced their co-operation with the enquiry, which began last month.
Both LG and Samsung are to launch 55-inch OLED televisions in 2012, having unveiled them at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2012.
