A new watch concept has been designed, using a small OLED screen to display the time and updates from mobile devices.
The Touch Skin OLED Watch was designed by Niels Astrup, and will connect to a computer or smart phone via Bluetooth, allowing users to access their emails or text messages on the small OLED screen. The display means the watch can remain thin and comfortable while displaying plenty of information, and allowing for colour customisation when in timekeeping mode, reports the website Technabob.
The Touch Skin follows on from Sony's OLED watch, and the upcoming Pebble, which uses e-paper to display information.
