The global market for organic electronics is expected to grow as demand is driven for key selling points, according to a new report.
Organic Electronics: A Global Strategic Business Report, published by Global Industry Analysts, forcasts the market will achieve $32.8 billion (€24.4 billion) by 2017, with more than 3,000 companies involved in some way with the market. Growth will be strong, driven by developments in the end-use sectors of OLEDs, RFID Tags and organic photovoltaics, states an article by the Digital Journal.
The report identifies OLED displays as the largest end-use application for organic electronics, with other areas slowly catching up.
