Technology manufacturer Panasonic has announced its plans to bring a new range of smartphones to the global market, featuring OLED displays.
The company will launch its new Android based phones in Europe during 2012, the first offering a 4.3-inch OLED display, with qHD resolution. This allows for a very slim casing. Panasonic hopes to sell 1.5 million units by the end of 2012, before launching other models onto the market. The move represents the company's first use of its small OLED displays, as it continues to develop larger units for televisions, reports the website geek.com.
There are no details on price, but the phone will be available in black or silver, and is expected to link to other Panasonic products.
