Electronics developer Plastic Logic has recruited a new CEO, and is returning its operations to Cambridge, UK.
Indro Mukeriee succeeds Richard Archuleta, who is stepping down after four years at the helm, and will run the company from his base in the UK. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of C-MAC MicroTechnology, leading the business transformation of the international high-reliability electronics manufacturing firm since 2006. He was previously with Philips Semiconductors BV, states a company press release.
Plastic Logic is expected to begin its initial commercial product rollout later this year and is in the process of building its second manufacturing plant in Zelenograd, Russia. At the same time, Plastic Logic continues to invest in the expansion of its first high-volume, facility in Dresden, Germany.
