Molecular Beam Epitaxy and thin-layer material deposit specialist Riber has announced a new contract for OLED effusion cells.
The deal, worth several million Euros, will see the French company supply an un-named manufacturer, based in Asia, with several hundred cells before the end of this year. This follows on from several large orders since mid-2010, according to a report by 4-Traders. The cells are designed for manufacturing OLED displays in smartphones
The development of sales over a short period increases Riber's expertise in OEM supply for the OLED sector.
