Korean technology manufacturer Samsung has released a new video showing the capabilities of its flexible OLED displays.
The latest concept video shows how the screen can be rolled up, display 3D objects and interact with objects in its vicinity. The illustrated device is also transparent. The display is still a concept, but the video shows the possibilities Samsung are looking to exploit, reports the technology website Techngadgets.
The first flexible OLED displays are expected to be launched in 2012; however they will not be as bendable as this concept, and are likely to be encased behind a rigid substrate.
