Technology firm Samsung has filed a dispute against seven patents held by LG, relating to OLED display technology.
The latest move in a patent war between the two companies comes after LG announced it was bringing a case against Samsung over a number of patents in September 2012. Samsung's suit is seeking to invalidate LG's patents on the grounds that they lack innovation, states the technology website CNET.
LG is seeking a ban on sales of several Samsung products using OLED technology. The two companies have been clashing over the technology for some time, including accusations of industrial espionage involving former employees of both.
