Toshiba has announced a number of new products, including a tablet with an OLED display.
The company has been experimenting with OLED technology for some time, including flexible prototypes. Its new range will include a tablet running on the Android operating system. Toshiba has decided to focus on thinness and lightness in its new range, and the OLED display will aid in this aim, as well as introducing bright, high contrast images to the market, reports technology website SlashGear.
No further details, such as pricing or launch dates, been announced; however the new range is expected to debut at CES in Las Vegas in January 2012.
