Consumer electronics firm Toshiba has cancelled plans to produce OLED panels, says Reuters.
The company had plans to create a line to manufacture 1.5 million OLED displays for mobile phones a month at its subsidiary Toshiba Mobile Display (TMD), according to the report.
However, TMD's planned Japanese production line was delayed, and the decision has now been taken to focus efforts on LCDs.
