Universal Display and PPG Industries have announced a new OLED materials supply agreement running until the end of 2014.
Under the deal, PPG will remain as the exclusive manufacturer of UDC's phosphorescent OLED materials for display and lighting. The agreement replaces a previous deal between the two companies, and the terms are expected to be similar. PPG will work to meet the higher demand expected for materials, as the OLED industry grows, reports Marketwatch.
The two companies have worked together for over a decade, and the new deal will allow UDC to remain stable during a period of market growth.
