Konarka, a US manufacturer of solar plastic film, has appointed former CTO of Kodak's OLED Systems Business, James Buntaine, as executive vice president and CTO.
Buntaine first joined Kodak in 1980, and in 2007 took his role within the company's OLED division. In 2009, he oversaw the sale of the OLED business to LG. Kodak's OLED division went on to form an independent start-up for OLED lighting.
According to the news report on BusinessWire, Konarka aims to use Buntaine's experience in developing business-to-business relationships to help develop the company's products further.
