UK firm makes organic solar cell material available

Start-up Ossila has launched a material designed to make organic solar cells more stable and durable.

Ossila claims that polythiophene material P3HT is unstable in air, which limits its efficacy as a basis for plastic solar cells.

PCDTBT also offers quick drying suitable for manufacturing lines, according to the company.
