Printed electronics company Soligie has been awarded several contracts to allow the company to develop printed sensors.
A Soligie press release reports that the company is already evaluating prototypes, and expects to begin volume production in 2011-12. Soligie is targeting sensor markets, such as medical and security, with large-area arrays.
The company is also offering customers the option to integrate other components with the sensors, and to use roll-to-roll methods for high-volume production.
