Lumiotec has launched a new hanger lamp, using a Rohm OLED panel with a hook, for using in various situations.
The new lamp will cost $450 (€335) and gives off the same amount of light as a 60 watt bulb, despite consuming just 9.6 watts of power. The thin OLED is housed in a thin plastic body with a hook on top allowing it to hang whever you need, however the device uses mains power, rather than a flat battery pack, reports Endgadget. While the device is not portable, it does offer bright light for various applications, such as cupboard or garage lighting.
Lumiotec says the device is available now in limited quantities.
