OLEDWorks has announced a patent licence agreement with Golbal OLED Technology (GOT).
The deal allows OLEDWorks to use certain GOT patents in the production of OLED lighting products, and sees GOT earn royalties for their use. The patents were originally registered by Eastman Kodak, before being bought by GOT, who have continued their investment, reports PR Newswire. A similar deal was recently announced with Panasonic Idemitsu OLED Lighting.
OLEDWorks was established in 2010 for the purpose of developing and producing OLED lighting panels.
