A new report from industry analyst Nanomarkets predicts the OLED encapsulation market will grow in conjunction with OLED lighting.
The report, 'Markets for OLED Encapsulation - 2011', predicts a market potential of approximately $170 million (€126 million) by 2016, coinciding with the emergence of OLED lighting, leading to a significant upside for encapsulation suppliers. encapsulation is the key enabling technology for the larger-format/longer lifetime OLEDs that will be entering the market in the near- to mid-term, and thus can unlock entire market segments, states a press release.
The report also looks at companies to watch in the market, from large multinationals to specialist firms.
