German technology company Sim4tec has released a new version of its OLED simulation software, SimOLED.
The software aids the design of OLED and organic materials, including optical and electrical simulation. Its latest version offers enhanced steady-state solvers for quick extraction of electrical material parameters, faster calculations of electrical and optical key figures, and the switching of light direction for bottom and top emission configuration.
A new module, SimOLED Fitting, enables users to generate reliable physical material parameters, based on experimental data. This allows for the ability to make predictions and prove or disprove hypothesis in OLED development, states a company press release.
The software, suitable for OLED stack design and basic research, could allow for better OLED lighting design, leading to lower costs.
