UK based ZBD Displays has signed an agreement with Denmark consumer goods retailer Coop, which sees the retailer using the company's electronic shelf labels.
The first phase of the rollout is for 77 Coop stores, with an initial order value of $9.2 million (€7 million). The company tested the label system, and was impressed with its ease of installation and price, forming the basis of the signed agreement. The retailer believes the electronic labels will help to streamline its operations and allow it to ensure price changes are always communicated quickly, and are correct, reports SourceWire.
