Germany based consumer electronics retailer Cyberport has announced that it is to roll out electronic shelf labelling (ESL) from ZBD across all its stores.
The retailer cited the ease of product information updates, and the elimination of the need for manually printing and cutting costly paper labels as key factors behind its decision, reports a ZBD press release. Stores will also use ZBD's new Multi-Bounce Ethernet system. This makes installation and maintenance of product information on the displays even faster and easier to manage.
The ESL manufacturer recently signed a similar deal with Denmark retailer Coop, while Estonian telecoms firms Tele2 adopted the technology in February 2011.
