Hardware maker Adafruit has unveiled a new wearable electronics platform, which could allow for images to be displayed on clothing.
The company's platform, Flora, is designed to give anyone the ability to create a matrix of small LED pixels, making a custom wearable multi-LED design. The system is currently in testing and can support a limit of around 500 pixels, although Adafruit expects to expand on this. The company also states that it has built-in USB support, allowing it to be programmed from an external source, reports technology news website CNET.
There are no details yet on when the concept could come to market or a price for the system.
